UPCOMING CLASSES AND RETREATS

  • Springtime Silent Retreat

May 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Triple Crane Retreat Center in Chelsea.

Pink cherry blossoms against a bright white sky. The trunk and several branches of the cherry tree are visible through the blossoms.

The Ann Arbor Center for Mindfulness is delighted to offer an in-person Springtime Silent Retreat. This retreat will be different from previous retreats we have offered, in that it is not generally recommended for beginning meditators. AACFM teachers will be providing minimal instruction for this retreat.  This is an opportunity for those with previous meditation experience to deepen their practice by sitting, walking and eating in silence during the day. Weather permitting, the grounds of the Retreat Center will be open for walking meditation.

Snacks and tea will be served. Please bring a healthy lunch. This retreat is for persons 18 years and older. This retreat is for those that currently have a meditation practice or want to renew their meditation practice.

The Ann Arbor Center for Mindfulness is offering tiered pricing of $65.00, $50.00, or $35.00 for this retreat. You may choose a tier and pay according to your means.

The registration proceeds will be used to fund scholarships for mindfulness teacher training programs in underrepresented communities. If you want to make an additional donation to support this cause, it is greatly appreciated.

If you need financial assistance for the cost of the retreat, you may contact Mariko at mfoulk@umich.edu for more information.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you.
