Scholarship and Support Program for Aspiring Mindfulness Teachers

Scholarship Spotlight

Thanks to the support of our donors and Event participants, Eric Wilkins is able to take the two-year mindfulness teacher training offered by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP).

In early 2025, the Ann Arbor Center for Mindfulness (AACFM) will again be offering support to aspiring mindfulness teachers in Southern Michigan from underrepresented communities by offering scholarships and mentorship. Southern Michigan includes but is not limited to Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Adrian, Detroit and outlying cities and rural areas, Jackson, Greater Lansing, Flint and the Tri-Cities areas, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and surrounding areas, and the Lake Michigan Shore.  We believe that the practice and teaching of mindfulness should be inclusive, particularly those in which mindfulness teachers are underrepresented. We invite you to take part in our mission to cultivate a more diverse and empowered mindfulness teaching community by seeking support through the Robinson Teacher Scholarship and Support Program.
